Make key themes work again

This was inadvertedly broken in commit
44ba5d253f5bbda2d5a42c58218ad2aa318256f4.
Thanks to Matthew Francis for tracking this down and providing
a fix in https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=699901
